Fishermen’s rally
DADU, June 4: On the call of Pakistan Fisherfolk Forum, hundreds of fishermen took out a procession in Bhan Syedabad town on Saturday. PFF vice-chairman Mustafa Mirani led the protesters. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Mirani said the contract system should be abolished and inalienable right of fishermen for fishing in lakes and the Indus River should be restored. He said the government should introduce licence system on the Manchhar Lake.—Correspondent
