NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, June 4: A large of residents of the Bakhshoo Rind village took out a rally against the police highhandedness on Saturday. They said the police had falsely implicated 13 villagers, including their headman, in a gun-snatching case. They converged at Allahwala chowk where they also staged a sit-in.

They said that Naushahro Feroze police had forcibly taken away their buffaloes and tractors maintaining that the villagers were not involved in snatching of the official guns from the policemen.

They demanded of PPO Asad Jahangir to intervene into the matter and help withdraw false cases instituted against the villagers.
