Firecrackers depot gutted
GILGIT, June 4: Fire broke out in a godown of firecrackers and plastic shooters in Danyore village on Karakoram Highway, 10km north of here, on Thursday. Blasts that followed the huge fire rocked the entire village. However, no loss of life was reported.
The cause of the fire could not be ascertained.
Sources said the fire had damaged the building housing the depot.
