LAKKI MARWAT, June 2: A large number of people on Thursday took out a procession and blocked the main road to protest against the proposed construction of a new judicial complex in Tajazai, 14 kilometres from the Lakki city. The procession led by PML-N MPA Anwar Kamal Khan Marwat was organized by leaders of the Save Lakki Movement.

The protesters marched on different roads and staged a sit-in near the bus-stand. They were raising slogans against the construction of the judicial complex away from the city.

The shopkeepers also joined the protest demonstration and kept their shops and business places closed.

On this occasion, the speakers criticized the district and provincial governments for depriving the inhabitants of the Lakki Marwat city of the existing facilities.
