Probe team for Karachi

By Mohammad Asghar

RAWALPINDI, May 31: Intelligence agencies suspect a link between suicide bombings in Karachi and Islamabad and have started to explore similarities between the two incidents. According to sources, there apparently were three similarities — the mode of attack, the timing and the type of device used.

The sources said that a team of investigators had been sent to Karachi to investigate a possible linkage between the two terror attacks. A police official said that Islamabad police were in contact with the Karachi police in connection with the investigation.

The team sent to Karachi is likely to interrogate Tehseen who was arrested on Monday and is undergoing treatment.
