Nadeem’s century in vain


KARACHI, May 30: Nadeem Abbasi’s fine century could not save Pak Mujahid Cricket Club from defeat against Mohammad Hussain Memorial CC in the KCCA Centenary Inter-club cricket tournament at the NBP sports complex on Sunday.

In the other match played at Airport Stadium, Korangi Al-Fateh Cricket Club defeated Malir Cantonment Gymkhana by 46 runs thanks to Mohammad Ali Naqvi’s unbeaten 50.

M. Hussain MCC beat Pak Mujahid CC by eight wickets.

PAK MUJAHID 218-5 in 40 overs (Nadeem Abbasi 111, Saifullah Magsi 52; Wajihuddin 2-36); M.HUSSAIN MCC 220-2 in 27.3 overs (M. Rizwan 70, Saad Umar 64 not out, Wajihuddin 33 not out).
