QUETTA, May 30: A group of ruling PML parliamentary party comprising ministers and MPAs has warned that it will boycott the budget session of the Balochistan assembly if injustices of the MMA continues and its demands are not accepted. A decision in this regard was taken at a meeting of the group held at the residence of the Minister for Excise and Taxation Mir Amanullah Notizai, here on Monday attended by seven PML ministers and five MPAs.

Provincial general-secretary of PML Balochistan, Shiekh Jaffar Khan Mandokhel briefing the newsmen demanded cancellation of the contract of Additional Chief Secretary Planning and Development.

“We are struggling for restoring the PML status as senior partners of the coalition government. We have no differences with Chief Minister Jam Yousuf,” he said and added that some elements were misleading the chief minister in this connection.

He criticized the senior minister’s statements against PML ministers and MPAs and said that he was deteriorating the situation through such statements.

He said that they have informed the high command of Pakistan Muslim League regarding this situation and told them that MMA was creating problems for PML in the province through interfering in its affairs.

Mr Mandokhel said that PML ministers and members of the assembly were facing this situation for the last two and half years but now they had decided not to tolerate the injustices of coalition partner any more.

He said that MMA ministers were interfering in the constituencies of PML members and ministers through making posting and transfers.

He said that party workers had supported the move of the PML members as they were also facing difficulties due to the domination of MMA.

Replying to a question about the accord with MMA, he said that it was reached between MMA and Jam Yousuf and not with PML. He said that MMA itself was violating it and was not ready to accept PML as senior coalition partner in the government.

The Provincial Minister for Law and parliamentary affairs, Mir Abdul Rehman Jamali who was present on the occasion said that he had a meeting with governor today and informed him about the situation.

He said that he had also requested him for appointing new Additional Chief Secretary of Planning and Development as present ACS was involved in politics.

The ministers and MPAs present on the occasion included Mir Amanullah Notizai, Mir Abdul Ghafoor Lehri, Mir Abdul Rehman Jamali, Mir Bakhtiar Khan Domki, Younus Chengazi, Sardar Masood Luni, Sher Jan Baloch, Shiekh Jaffar Khan Mandokhel, Shah Zaman Rind, Mrs Rubina Irfan, Dr Ruqyia Hashmi and Basant Lal Gulshan.
