PESHAWAR, May 29: NWFP Health Minister Inayatullah Khan has directed efficient utilisation of foreign aid. He was speaking as chief guest at the concluding session of a workshop on the Evaluation of Support to Health Sector Reforms Project (SHSR) here on Sunday.

The workshop was arranged to evaluate implementation pace of reforms in health sector and identity measures for removing obstacles to gear up the process.

Health experts, planners, DCOs and EDOs Health of the target districts attended the workshop.

Speaking on the occasion, the minister underlined the need of proper planning to divert foreign aid to words sectors, needed to be developed.

He asked for clear identification of priority areas to attract donors. The minister also

directed for constituting of a proper body in the depart-ment to deal with donors properly.

Earlier, Dr Mohammad Rafique, chief Health Sector Research and Reforms UNIT (HSRRU), highlighted reform strategy being adopted in the province.

He pinpointed the need of adopting a holistic approach for bringing desired outcomes of the reform process.

Dr Wahid Gul, chief support to the Health Sector Reforms Project, threw light on the aims and objectives of the schemes.
