Differences in PML resolved: Pervaiz

By Our Correspondent

SAHIWAL, May 29: Differences between the ruling PML and its allies have been ironed out and now there is no internal rift. This was stated by Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi while talking to local journalists here on Sunday at Harappa at the residence of provincial minister Muhammad Arshad Khan Lodhi.

He hoped that the party would emerge victorious in the local government elections.

To a question, the chief minister ruled out that corrupt nazims of the district might come into power again.

Earlier, Mr Elahi condoled with Arshad Lodhi the death of his elder brother Muhammad Aslam Khan Lodhi, ex-Sahiwal zila council chairman.

He paid tribute to the late Aslam Lodhi and hailed his services for the party.
