KARACHI, May 29: A workshop on “Science in mass media” will be organised by the Department of Genetics, University of Karachi, from June 7. This was announced by the Organising Secretary, Prof Dr Shakeel Farooqui, here on Sunday.
He said the three-day moot was intended to provide guideline for promoting science in Pakistan through the mass media.
Prof Farooqui said the workshop had been designed for scientists, journalists, television producers and people working on bridging the gap between science and media.—APP
