LAHORE, May 28: A local sessions court has sought reply from the city SSP (Operations) and Ghalib Market police SHO to explain why did a case was not registered on a written complaint by Human Rights Commission of Pakistan chairperson Asma Jahangir.
Additional district and sessions judge Mian Khadim Husain is seized of a petition moved by the HRCP chairperson, through Advocate Azam Nazir Tarar, which stated that the Ghalib Market police did not register the case of her maltreatment by police on May 14 when she was to lead a marathon near Liberty Market.
