Woman jailed

JACOBABAD, May 28: The district and sessions judge, Syed Faiz Rasool Rashidi, awarded four years imprisonment to a woman here on Saturday for possessing two kilograms of hashish. The woman, Najma, wife of Saleem, was also fined Rs5,000 and in case of non-payment of the amount, she would undergo another three months imprisonment.

She had been arrested by the Jacobabad city police in 2001.
