Man killed during jirga
HARIPUR, May 28: A man was shot dead during a jirga in village Gadwalian, some 12km from here on Friday evening. Kotnajibullah police said the jirga was holding a meeting to settle a dispute between two families of Mishwani tribe when a participant of the jirga, Yasir, opened fire on Qaisar Shah of the rival party, killing him on the spot.
CHILD DROWNS: A four- year-old boy, Ammar, son of Siddiqur Rehman, drowned in a water tank in Khalabat Township here.
