KARACHI, May 27: The Sindh Local Government Department has taken serious notice of inviting tenders by certain district governments and town/taluka municipal administrations beyond their resources. A spokesman for the department said on Friday that it has come to the knowledge of the government that tenders have been invited for uplift works that could not be executed during current fiscal year. Since the funds are not available for such tenders.—APP/PPI
