KARACHI, May 25: The Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Education Committee’s annual meeting was held on Wednesday. Administrator of DHA Brig Maqsood Hussain chaired the meeting. Addressing the meeting, Brig Maqsood underlined the significance of quality education as a powerful agent of change and as an embodiment of country’s progress and strength.

In this context, the administrator emphasized the vital role that teachers could pay in grooming students and in preparing a cadre for society.

He asked teachers to accept tough challenges to truly deliver for the cause of education.

Brig Maqsood hoped that students graduating from DHA’s educational institutions would have a new outlook on life and would be equipped with adequate confidence to meet the onslaught of practical challenges in life.

The education committee also contemplated various tangible measures for the overall improvement of quality of education in DHA’s schools and colleges. A decision was made to adopt a strategy aimed at improving the quality of instructions and faculty in DHA’s educational institutions.—PPI
