KARACHI, May 23: A Dutch company will on Monday invest 100 million euros to set up windmills in the province, which will produce 100 megawatts of energy. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Adviser to Sindh Chief Minister on Environment and Alternate Energy Noman Saigal and visiting Chief Executive of Dutch Company Kemperman & Partners G A Kemperman in Karachi.
A feasibility study will be carried out from next week, to explore sites of Keti Bander and Gharo, to set up windmills by assessing environmental impact and required air pressure. —PPI
