KARACHI, May 23: A girl was caught trying to impersonate a regular candidate of HSC (Part-II) annual examination at Government College for Women, Saudabad, on Monday. According to sources in the Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi, the girl, was detected attempting Urdu paper in the first shift in place of the original candidate. Under rules, an FIR is lodged against the imposter, but there was no such mention in the report received from the examination centre in question, added the source.

However, the candidate who is personated in examination, can be debarred from examination maximum for a period of three years, it was further learnt.

This is the first case of impersonation reported so far after the commencement of HSC annual exams on May 17.
