By Our Sports Correspondent

LAHORE, May 22: Forty-six clubs are taking part in the first Amanullah Khan memorial invitation cricket tournament starting from Monday with the opening match between Model Town Greens and Tauseef Club at the former’s ground. The competition is being held on knock-out basis by the Punjab Cricket Club and New Union Cricket Club in memory of former Test umpire Amanullah Khan, the veteran of 13 Test and 25 One-day International matches.

The secretary Punjab Club Hafeez-ur-Rehman said at a press conference on Sunday that all the matches would be supervised by national and international umpires.
