Wapda gives relief to public sector


ISLAMABAD, May 21: The Water and Power Development Authority (Wapda) has decided to withdraw late payment surcharges for public sector consumers. According to a press release, late payment surcharges in the electricity bills against federal and provincial government departments, including autonomous bodies and local bodies, have been culminated. Wapda has asked all departments to submit their bills for the month of May 2005 till June 2005 so as to benefit from the offer.—PPI
