Summer coaching camp

KARACHI, May 21: A three-week long free summer coaching camp in different disciplines for budding youngsters of the city will be organized at Habib Public School (HPS) from June 3. According to an announcement, the summer camp which is an annual feature of the institution, will be staged in athletics, hockey, cricket, taekwondo and swimming.

The swimming camp to be restricted for Habibians will be of one month duration and a fee of Rs.200 will be charged.

Shabih Abbas, director sports of the school, has been named camp commandant while Shehenshah Hussain will be the coordinator.

The panel of coaches comprises: Yasmeen Naz, Michael Gomes (athletics), Mansoor Ahmed, Ahmed Hussain, Raees Ahmed (hockey), Shoaib Muhammad, Shiraz Ali (cricket), Rehman Shah, Liaquat Ali (tae kwon do) and Abdul Ghafoor (swimming).
