By Our Sports Reporter

ISLAMABAD, May 21: A three-member committee constituted by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to review the regional set-up has proposed new names except for Karachi and Lahore centres. The proposal of the committee that had Javed Zaman, Brig. Salahuddin and Jalil Khan is said to have been submitted to the PCB head.

They have suggested that Hyderabad be named the Sindh Region, Quetta as the Balochistan Region and Rawalpindi as the Northern Region.

Other changes suggested are: NWFP (Frontier Region), Multan (Southern Region), Sialkot (Eastern Region), Faisalabad (Central Region) and Islamabad (Capital Region).

It has also been proposed that the headquarters of the Eastern Region be Gujranwala instead of Sialkot.
