Mixed fortunes for Asia U-15

KARACHI, May 21: The visiting Asia Select Under-15 team experienced mixed results in two one-day matches played here against local outfits. On Thursday, The Asian boys defeated A.O. Under-15 by 30 runs in a floodlit fixture at the Asghar Ali Shah Stadium.

Then on Friday, the tourists lost to PIA Academy by a convincing margin of six wickets at the National Stadium.

ASIA SELECT U-15 185 in 49.5 overs (Mohammad Shafiq 58, Prem Dadlani 20; Ajlal Tariq 5-53, Ayazuddin 2-42); A.O. U-15 155 in 44.5 overs (Asadullah 28, Faizan Yousuf 26; Irfan Ahmed 3-33, Prem Dadlani 2-35).

PIA Academy beat Asia U-15 by six wickets.

ASIA SELECT U-15 117 in 39.2 overs (Prem Dadlani 20, Mohammad Shafiq 20; Zaeem Ghazanfar 3-13, Danish Nawaz 2-18); PIA ACADEMY 119-4 in 31 overs (Abdullah Shah 25, Mohammad Ahmed 24 not out, Zaeem Ghazanfar 21; Sarwana Raj 2-48).
