Dawn staffer grieved

KARACHI, May 21: Baqar Ali Mehkri, father of Ishtiaq Ali Mehkri, a senior journalist of Dawn, passed away at Usman Hospital, on Saturday night after protracted illness. Mr Mehkri had been bedridden for more than two years after suffering a paralysis attack.He was 68.

His Namaz-i-Janaza will be held at Imambargah Shuhdaa-i-Karbala, Ancholi, on Sunday after Zohr prayers and will be laid to rest at Waadee-i-Hussain graveyard off Super Highway.
