Fourth bus leaves for Srinagar

MUZAFFARBAD, May 19: The fourth trans-Kashmir bus left the AJK capital on Thursday morning with 25 passengers on board, officials said. Separately, another vehicle carried 18 returning residents of held Kashmir back home. The new passengers and returning residents crossed the Opi Bridge, some 61 kilometres south of here in Chakothi sector, on foot around noon to board vehicles on the other side for their final destination.

In the afternoon, 20 new passengers from held Kashmir crossed the bridge at 4:30pm but it took them nearly two hours at Chakothi terminal for completion of necessary formalities.

The buses carrying the held Kashmir residents and 12 returning residents of Azad Kashmir arrived here at city terminal at 8 pm.
