KARACHI, May 19: The following were Thursday’s commodity market rates in rupees.

Oilseeds

RAPESEED (per 40 kg): Dadulane 675 to 680; Mirpurlane 730 to 740; Nawabshah 770 to 775; Castorseed (Sindh) 750 to 775.

EDIBLE OILS (per 40 kg): Coconut oil 3,500 to 3,800; Rapeseed and Mustard oil 2,100 to 2,300; Ghee Vanaspati (per 16 kg) 800 to 900.

OIL SEED CAKES (per 50 kg) with bag: Cottonseed 440 to 450; Rapeseed and Mustard (40 kg) 270 to 272.

Cereals

Jowar (per 100 kg): 1,200 to 1,500; Maize 1,050 to 1,100.

BARLEY (per 100 kg): (Sindh) NA; (Punjab) NA; Wheat Mexi Pak 1,060 to 1,130; Bajra 1,575 to 1,650. Maida (80 kg) 1,040 to 1,080; Suji 1,020 to 1,060; Atta 940 to 980.

RICE (per 100 kg): Basmati (386) 2,100 to 2,700; Basmati Kernel 3,400 to 4,200; Basmati Whole (385) 2,000 to 2,800; Basmati broken 1,400 to 1,800; Basmati super 3,200 to 4,000; Irri-9 Punjab 1,700 to 1,800; Irri-6 Sindh 1,400 to 1,500; Irri-9 Sindh 1,500 to 1,550.

Pulses

WHOLE (per 100 kg): Mash imported 2,200; Masoor (Sindh) 2,600 to 3,400; Masoor imported 2,200 to 2,500; Moong (Punjab) 2,300 to 2,600; Moong (Sindh) 2,225 to 2,525.

Gram Yellow 1,500 to 1,540; Gram imported 2,100 to 2,400; Gram white Kabli 3,600 to 4,000; Gram Black 2,200 to 2,300 Arhar 2,125 to 2,225.

WASHED (per 40 kg): Maash 1,300 to 1,400; Moong 1,100 to 1,200; Masoor 1,550 to 1,650; Arhar 1,200 to 1,300; Gram (100 kg) 2,700 to 3,200.

SUGAR (per 40 kg): Sugar refined 950 to 970; Khandari 880 to 1,080; Gur 760 to 960.

Spices

WHOLE (per 40 kg): Chillies dandicut 1,400 to 1,800; Cumminseed white 2,400 to 3,000; Cumminseed black 4,500 to 5,000; Ajwan 1,400 to 1,450; Turmeric Gantha 2,200 to 2,400; Turmeric Lambi 1,900 to 2,200; Corianderseed (No I) 1,800 to 2,200. Poultry

EGGS: Rs730 to Rs735 per crate of 30 dozens, Broiler (Live): Rs68 per kilo; Culled Bird (Live): Rs42 per kilo.

The following are the maximum retail rates for Friday:
