Two killed in accident

SUKKUR, May 18: Two people were killed and eight others injured in an accident on the National Highway near the Tando Masti bypass, 50 kilometres off Sukkur, on Wednesday morning. A truck going to Jacobabad from Karachi collided head on with a trailer near Tando Masti. The long vehicle was going Karachi from Punjab.

Truck owner Ali Nawaz and cleaner Hadi Bux were killed on the spot while six other occupants were injured and taken to civil hospitals in Sukkur and Khairpur.

The injured included Khalid, Shakil, Ishaq, Saeed and Pervaiz. Condition of Pervaiz is said to be critical. Trailer driver Gulzar and the cleaner Talib Hussain were also injured.
