KARACHI, May 17: a dozen ships carrying tallow,palm oil and to load molasses are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday,according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where four ships, BBC Angila, to unload and load general cargo, Dong He and PONL Vera Cruz, with containers, and Emblem to unload palm oil were berthed after the departure of two.

The ships, which departed included Coron Urkmoz and BBC Angila, while Thor Captain, Dong He, Sacan Arcuc, Hanseduo, Andino Park and Yuan Pingsea, are due to sail out on Wednesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 90,491 tons comprising 19,655 tons of export cargo including 2,398 tons of rice and 70,836 tons of import was handled.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Guit Dove, to load 5,500 tons of molasses, Minsa to offload 3,500 tons of palm oil, Botany Trustmto unload 3,900 tons of tallow, Sinar Bontang, Kota Wijaya, Asian Trader, Maersk Aiask, YM Star, Iran Sattari, Hyundai Future, Corn Thaikos and Sagamore, with containers.
