Three traders robbed of Rs3.5m cash

SIALKOT, May 16: Three traders of Shakargarh were deprived of Rs3.5 million in cash on Monday by two armed motorcyclists near Ghogaa village on Sialkot-Bhaagowal-Shakargarh Road. Riaz Ahmad, Muhammad Akram and Shabbir Ahmad were returning to Shakargarh by their car (LR-7193) after drawing cash from a bank in Sialkot. On their way, armed robbers intercepted them by creating hurdles on the road, snatched cash from them and escaped from the scene.

Sialkot Sadar police have registered a case.

TAKEN AWAY: Thieves on Sunday night took away six buffaloes worth Rs140,000 from the outhouse of landlord Muhammad Akram in Burj Cheema village, Daska tehsil.

Bambaanwala police have instituted a case.

In another strike, thieves took away four buffaloes from the outhouse of landlord Ghulam Mustafa Warraich in Koreyki-Satrah village.

A case has been registered by Satrah police.
