KARACHI, May 16: Half a dozen ships carrying palm oil, containers and general cargo are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was modes where four ships, Shalamar, Ananmik Park, to unload oil, Scon Artic, Anncoret to offload and load general cargo were berthed after the departure of as many.

The vessels, which departed included Global Progress, Bunga Deliama, Iron Butterfly and Nil, while Dean Artic, BBC Angte, Thor Captain, Shalamar, Annagret, Dong He, and Andino Park are due to sail out on Tuesday. Cargo handling activity at the wharves was modest where a total tonnage of 55,905 tons comprising 8,979 tons of export cargo and 46,926 tons of import cargo was handled.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Emblem, with 23,500 tons of palm oil, Thor Captain, S7G Anfur, Sinar Bontang with containers, Nur Yanbu, with chemicals and Dong He, also with containers.
