MITHI, May 15: At least 37 low-grade employees of the excise and taxation department, Tharparkar, have not been receiving their salary for last three months due to absence of the excise and taxation officer, ETO, who was transferred three month back. Appealing to the Sindh governor and the excise and taxation secretary for redressal of their grievance, the employees stated in a fax message that no ETO has been posted at Mithi since the transfer of the former ETO three months ago, resulting in suspension of payment of salary to 37 employees.

Not only any ETO has been posted in Thar since the last three months but powers of signing the salary bills have also not been devolved to any other officer.
