KARACHI: Workers’ demand

KARACHI, May 15: The United Bank Employees, and Officers Action Committee of the CBA Trade Unions of Pakistan, has urged the UBL administration to announce revised salary packages and bonus profits for the bank’s regular employees and officers.

In a press statement, the action committee maintained that it was due to the hard work of bank employees and officers that the UBL had posted a record profit of Rs5 billion in 2004 and Rs4.5 billion in 2003. Hence, it was proper on part of the action committee to demand profit bonus for all those serving the bank.—APP
