SYDNEY, May 14: Pakistan wants meaningful and result-oriented talks with India to resolve all-outstanding issues including Jammu and Kashmir and believes that Kashmiris must be associated with the dialogue process.

“Pakistan believes that Kashmiris must be associated with Pakistan-India process of seeking final settlement of the (Kashmir) issue,” he said in a meeting with the members of Pakistani community in Sydney.

Mr Kasuri touched upon the confidence building measures Pakistan has taken to improve ties with India.

He also briefed the audience on his talks with the Australian prime minister, minister of foreign affairs, immigration, defence and attorney general on all issues relating to Pakistani expatriates based in Australia such as issuance of visa to students, businessmen, skilled workers and ways and means to enhance Pakistan’s image in Australia.
