Govt building destroyed in Khost
KHOST, May 14: Suspected Taliban insurgents used rockets to destroy a government building in Afghanistan’s southeastern city of Khost near the Pakistani border on Saturday, an official said. But no casualties were reported in the attack that came as Afghan security forces were on high alert amid fears of more violence related to protests over desecration of the holy Quran by US interrogators at Guantanamo Bay.—AFP
