Trio slam century

KARACHI, May 14: Imran Umar slammed a superb 175 to steer Tapal CC to their third victory in the KCCA Centenary Inter-club cricket tournament when they thrashed Shalimar CC by 78 runs at Student Sports ground on Friday. Imran blasted 27 boundaries as Tapal CC posted 289 for five in their 40 overs. Shalimar CC, in reply, bowled out for 211 in 34.4 overs with Javed Khan hit 10 fours in his 50.

In the other match at Shadab Sports ground, Rangers CC defeated Late Ismail CC by 92 runs thanks to centuries by Matiur Rehman and Adnan Ahmed. Mati struck 11 fours in making 139 while Adnan hit seven boundaries in scoring 107.
