MIRPURKHAS, May 13: EDO revenue Abdul Rahim Soomro has ordered an inquiry on complaint of social worker Abdul Majeed regarding encroachment of a revenue plot in Kot Ghulam Mohammad town. He appointed DDO revenue Aijazul Hassan as the inquiry officer, and asked him to complete the probe within seven days and submit report.

Tufail Gaddi claimed to be owner of plot No-G and a revenue plot of about 2,500 square feet beside plot-G on the main Samaro road.

He started construction of commercial shops at the revenue plot allegedly in connivance with a revenue official the and Mukhtiarkar.

People complained to the Mukhtiarkar about illegal construction but no action was taken.

Social worker Abdul Majeed submitted the complaint to Mukhtiarkar on April 28, seeking action against the construction when it was in the final phase.

The Mukhtiarkar issued notice to Tufail Gaddi, directing him to stop the construction and appear on May 4. But the construction continued.

The complainant sent a telegram to the Mukhtiarkar and DDO revenue for taking legal action while a letter No-123 was issued by the assistant Mukhtiarkar to SHO, urging him to stop construction. The complainant submitted a complaint to the DCO on April 30.
