Pakistan take 2-0 lead

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan defeated visiting Kazakhstan for the second time in two days to gain a 2-0 cushion in the five-match volleyball Test series. The match played in Wah was watched by about 4000 spectators at the POF Sports Complex with the home side sealing a 25-20, 25-22, 25-23 victory.

Libro Tariq Waseem, Zaheer Ahmed, Naseer Ahmed and Kashif Mansoor played star roles in the triumph over a team whose towering players put up a stout resistance.

Andreyev Yegeniy, Trikoz Sergey, Stephen Alexey and Imangaliyev Marat were the outstanding players of the touring team.

The third Test is to be played in Peshawar on Friday.
