Shams top-seeded

ABBOTTABAD, May 11: Shamsul Islam Kakar is top-seeded for the 5th President PSF National squash championship which commences from Thursday at PSF Squash Complex. Except for Shahid Zaman and Mansoor Zaman who are in the UK, all the top-seeded national players are taking part in the Rs300,000 tournament.

The first qualifying round completed in morning, which the Punjab players dominated with five victories.

Meanwhile, director tournament, Tariq Mehmood said the newly-constructed squash complex, which has been named after former world champion Jansher Khan and has a seating capacity of more than 300 spectators will be officially inaugurated by him on May 16.
