KARACHI, May 11: Two ships carrying containers and steel cargo are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources. Four ships, APL Cairo, Maersk Aleska and Kota Wangi to unload and load containers and Cape Noli to load rice were berthed after the departure of six.

The ships, which departed were led by Ever Gather, Global Princess, Germana, AMS Telgracht, Johar and Shamrock Moon, while G. Elephant, APL Cairo, Kota Wangi and Corin Thaikos are due to sail out on Thursday.

Cargo handling activity was maintained on the higher side where total tonnage of 76,579 tons comprising 27,762 tons of export cargo including 1,895 tons of rice and 48,810 tons of import cargo was handled.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Golden Express, with containers and Panama Express, with steel cargo.
