National hard court tourney from 17th
KARACHI, May 10: The National hard court tennis championship will be played at the Karachi Gymkhana from May 17 to 23. The events included in this tournament are the men’s singles and doubles, ladies singles, juniors singles under-17 and juniors singles under-13.
The last date for entries is May 15 at 5.00 p.m. Tennis stars Aqeel Khan, Nomi, Asim Shafiq besides others, will be seen in action. Among the juniors Khurram Nazir And Tanvir Ashiq will make their presence felt.
The ladies current national clay court champion Sara Mehboob will also participate in this tournament.
Daily allowance will be given to all outstation players who should send their entries to Khalid Rehmani, secretary STA. Players can collect their forms from the Karachi Gymkhana.
