CBR forms body to resolve pending cases

RAWALPINDI, May 10: The Central Board of Revenue (CBR) has constituted two alternate dispute resolution committees for Rawalpindi sales tax collectorate to resolve the pending cases against the registered sales taxpayers pertaining to the pre- registration issues.

These committees will be headed by Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) President Najam Rehan and Vice- President Asad Mashhadi.

Senior RCCI members Javed Akhtar Bhatti, R.A. Zafar Chaudhry and Tauqeer Bokhari will be members of the committees.
