KARACHI, May 10: Seven vessels carrying containers, palm oil and to load cement are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side thanks to steady arrivals. As a result, seven ships, Global Princess, Corin Thaikos, Ever Gather to unload and load containers, Carla, to load cement, AMS Telgracht, to offload and load general cargo, Shamrock Moon, to offload lube oil and G. Elephant, to load naphtha were berthed after the departure of five.

The ships, which departed included Bunga Kenari, Passat, Binh Tan, Bow Cheetah and Santa Maria, while Shamrock Moon, Global Princess, Germana, Ever Gather, Maersk Alaska and G. Elephant are due to sail out on Wednesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 76,667 tons comprising 13,422 tons of export cargo, including 1,300 tons of rice and 215 tons of cement and 63,245 tons of import tonnage.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Lalazar, with 67,000 tons of crude oil, Bow Petros, with 10,000 tons of palm oil, Y.M. Energy, Cape Ferro, Sagamore, with container, Al-Rabab to unload general cargo and to load 3,600 tons of cement and Le He, with general cargo.
