Reception for Indian peace activists

By Our Reporter

LAHORE, May 9: Pakistan-India Peace March delegation leader Sandeep Panday has said that the Kashmir issue should be resolved in accordance with the UN resolutions and wishes of the people. Speaking at a reception hosted in honour of the delegation by the Pakistan Workers Confederation (PWC) at the Bakhtiar Labour Hall here on Monday, he said both India and Pakistan should resolve all their disputes through dialogue for establishing lasting peace in the region.

Delegation members Darshan Singh and Mahesh Panday said workers of both the countries wanted peace for solving problems like unemployment and violation of human rights. Both the countries would be able to divert the resources being wasted on acquisition of arms towards the welfare of the people.
