4 get death sentence

QUETTA, May 9: Anti-Terrorism Court, Khuzdar has awarded capital punishment and fine to four accused in a kidnapping case. The judge Mohammad Yousuf Khoso on Saturday sentenced Shafiqur Rehman, Mohammad Junaid, Saleemullah and Asadullah to death penalty and fine of rupees 100,000 each.

The charges against the accused were that on Sept 6, 2003 they had abducted four women affiliated to a foreign non-governmental organization, one infant and driver of the vehicle, near Mastung. However the police recovered them after seven days.
