PESHAWAR, May 6: Government High School No. 1 Cantt moved into the quarterfinals after victory against Zaryab High School of the PCB National Inter-school cricket championship played at Arbab Niaz Cricket Stadium on Friday. Batting first Zaryab High School were bundled out for 88 runs in 23.4 overs of the allotted 45 overs.

The damage was done medium pacers Waqas Ahmed and Abdul Rahim who wrapped who claimed nine wickets between themselves. Waqas took five wickets for 19 runs while Rahim took four for 31 runs. Only Yousaf Khan (22) off 43 balls and Gul Qadir (19) reached the double figures. Cantt No.1 achieved the target for the loss of five wickets with Zahoorul Islam (25) and Aamir (33) the leading scorers.—APP
