By Our Staff Reporter

KARACHI, May 6: The KBCA in its current drive against illegal construction on Friday demolished 14 illegally built shops in Jamshed and Saddar Towns. A spokeswoman for the KBCA said that out of the total 14 shops demolished, nine were built illegally on a residential plot No 62/B, Block 3, Jamshed Town, and the remaining five were illegally constructed in the reserved parking area of a basement on plot No 2/2 in Preedy Quarters Area, Saddar Town. The order for their demolition was issued by the Sindh High Court.

The KBCA demolition squad had a day earlier demolished 20 shops built illegally on the same plot (No 2/2, Preedy Quarters), she added.
