Dow, SSUET win
KARACHI, May 4: Dow Medical University, SSUET and Aga Khan University won their matches in the Inter-university basketball championship on Tuesday. Dow beat Baqai Medical University 56-36 after trailing 25-8 at the interval. Noman Yousuf (16) and Umer Qazi (16) played well for the winners. Rizal Ashraf (13) and Arham Ali (8) scorded for the loser.
SSUET trounced Ziauddin Medical University 66-31 thanks to brilliant show by Rakay Shamsi (27).
Owais Hasan scored 50 points as AKU beat Sindh Medical College 93-64. Bilal Abid also performed well with 24 points. Fahad Ahmed (31) produced a superb show for SMC with got good support from Shehbaz Ali (13).—APP
