KARACHI, May 4: A leading Swedish company, IKEA, is keen to import household items worth 100 million euro during the next fiscal year. The Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) and IKEA, in the meanwhile are jointly organizing EPB-IKEA conference at Karachi and Lahore on May 17 and 19, respectively.

The EPB has advised companies engaged in manufacturing home textiles, furniture, plastic products of home use, ceramics, carpets, rugs, handicrafts, flowers, metal accessories, sports goods, cutlery items to attend the conference. It is a great opportunity for Pakistani exporters to develop long-term business relationship with the Swedish company, says a press release.
