KARACHI: Gulberg Town presents budget


KARACHI, May 1: The Gulberg Town presented its draft budget of Rs340.46 million at the council meeting. According to a press release, Rs170.3681 million has been earmarked for development work and Rs160.68 million for salaries, petrol, diesel, etc.

Council members proposed a 50-bed hospital, four pedestrian bridges, libraries and roads under TKP in the new budget. The draft was given to the budget committee for review.

Town Nazim Farooq Naimatullah said Rs190.550 million would be generated from its annual share of property tax from octroi and Rs10.5 million from property registration.—PPI
