DCO warns absentees

SWABI, April 30: The district coordination officer has warned government employees of disciplinary action if they proceed on leaves without prior permission from a competent authority.

The DCO in a circular No 739/44/12/DCO/EA on Saturday asked the heads of all departments to inform their subordinates about the decision.

The order said that it had been observed that majority of the employees leave their stations without prior sanction of leaves. The trend should be stopped and if any head of department allow an employee he would be responsible for all consequences.

CAMPAIGN: The week-long campaign for awareness about the importance of education under the programme ‘Education for All’ (EFA) and the cry to “Send My Friend to School” ended on Saturday.
