KARACHI:OPD facility ordered

KARACHI, April 30: Sindh Health Adviser Health Faisal Malik has directed that out-patient department (OPD) service be started for cancer patients at Sindh Government Hospital, Liaquatabad so that they could get immediate treatment very near to their homes.

Talking to a delegation of the Sindh Government Hospital headed by MPA Farhin Ambrin here at his office on Saturday, he said the MS should take disciplinary action against the staff involved in dereliction towards their duties, as he was the person responsible for maintaining proper functioning of hospital.

The adviser directed to place names of doctors on emergency duty so that action could be taken against doctors, found absent during surprise visits.—PPI
